Parents usually ask
Do I install SafeParent on my phone or my child's phone?
Both. It is one app. On your phone choose Parent mode; on your child's Android phone choose Child mode and enter the 6-character pairing code shown on your phone.
Can I lock my child's phone remotely?
Yes. Tap Lock phone in the parent app and the child's phone locks straight away. If they unlock it, it locks again until you tap Unlock. Emergency calls from the lock screen keep working.
How much does SafeParent cost?
Every family starts with a 7-day free trial for one child. After that it is ₹300 per month or ₹3,000 per year in India, and $4 per month or $35 per year in most other countries, for up to 5 children. You subscribe inside the app through Google Play.
Does my child need a Google account or email?
No. Your child's phone joins your family with a short pairing code. Only the parent signs in with an email address.
Does SafeParent work on iPhone?
Not yet. SafeParent is built for Android phones today. iPhone support is planned.
Can my child just uninstall it or turn it off?
SafeParent uses Android's Device Admin, Accessibility and VPN permissions to enforce your rules, which makes it hard to remove quietly. If a permission is switched off you get an alert in the parent app, and if the phone stops checking in, the parent app shows that too.
